All windshield repairs cost $60. Each additional stone chip repair on the same vehicle is $10 with a cut off point at $80. In other words, no matter how many stone chip breaks you have in your windshield your total cost will never rise above $80.

Look out for "Preferred Glass Shop Facilities". Your insurance company may try to steer you to a network of what they call "preferred glass network", but it is illegal for them to tell you where to go for any repairs. Most insurance glass network shops want to avoid repairing windshields and will only fix very small damage. They may advise you to replace the whole windshield instead; this is called bait and switch sales.
